MWM is one of the world's leading providers of decentralized energy generation plants. The TCG 2016, 2020, and 2032 engines produced at the company's facilities in Mannheim, Germany, are sold via its own subsidiary MWM Canada Inc. in Cobourg, Ontario. Most importantly, this location advantage enables the company to ensure competent and quick service along with extensive, quick supply of spare parts.
The recent projects for Petrocorn Inc.,Curren, Kirchmeier Farms, St. Isidore, and Maryland Farms, Reaboro/Lindsay, demonstrate that the gensets are especially suitable for farm-based biogas plants in the Canadian renewable energies market. Apart from the installation of a 1,500 m3 anaerobic digester from CHFour Biogas Inc., all three plants feature 500 kWel TCG 2016C V12 MWM gensets that will produce enough electricity to power the equivalent of 1,500 Ontario homes. Additionally, the genset for the Maryland Farm will be implemented in the form of a turn-key containerized co-generation unit (CHP).
"We at MWM Canada are very excited to be involved in these biogas projects. Being a leading company with more than a thousand biogas engines installed worldwide, we are pleased to bring our experience and knowledge to these projects in Canada", explains Derek Neill, Vice President of MWM Canada Inc. Apart from the benefits it provides in the form of high efficiency, longer maintenance intervals (up to 64,000 hours), and increased service competence, MWM also presents itself as a competent provider who is able to implement complete turnkey system solutions.
