MTU Maintenance Zhuhai increases MRO capacity by 50 percent
The engine shop was extended considerably and hosts a state-of-the-art machine park to better streamline the current process flow and to accommodate more engines. As part of the MTU Maintenance network of companies, MTU Maintenance Zhuhai started operations in 2003 and is today the largest engine maintenance provider in China. The company focuses on the repair of V2500 and CFM56 engines of customers from all over the world. The test bed is one of the biggest and most advanced of its class in the world and can accommodate all commercial engine types delivering up to 150,000 pounds of thrust. MTU Maintenance Zhuhai has been authorized by CAAC, EASA, FAA and Airworthiness bureaus of Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam and Japan among others.
