Suitable for operating temperatures from -40°C to +115°C: Transistor optocoupler in extremely low height 4-pin L-SOP

(PresseBox) (Stutensee (Germany), )
NEC Electronics' new halogenfree PS2381-1 optocoupler is now available from Gleichmann Electronics. This device features a maximum package height of 2.3 mm after it is mounted on the board. Additional features include outer creepage and clearance distances of 8 mm respectively, a high isolation voltage of 5000 Vrms (max) and a wide operating temperature range from 40°C to +115°C. The optocoupler comes in a 4pin long miniflat small outline package (L SOP) and is provided with a transistor output.

The PS2381-1 transistor output optocoupler can operate at both 1 mA and 5 mA LED input currents. Output collector to emitter voltages up to 80 V can be applied and maximum output collector current of 50 mA can be obtained.

As with all of NEC Electronics' optocouplers, the PS2381-1 also has international safety certificates such as UL, CSA and VDE. Furthermore, the new optocouplers are RoHS compliant. Detailed product information and design samples are available now.

MSC Technologies GmbH

Founded in 1979, Gleichmann & Co. Electronics GmbH, in the same company group with MSC Vertriebs GmbH, has established itself as one of the leading pan-European distributors of electronic assemblies and components. One of the reasons for the high acceptance by customers and suppliers is the company's early focus on comparatively few, highly sophisticated products such as microcontrollers, programmable logic devices, displays and customer specific power supplies. From this, the resulting indepth technical knowhow of our sales engineers and field application engineers today enables us, if required by the customer, even implementation of complete new designs right up to the finished product. With two of its own ASIC design centers, the Gleichmann Electronics Research laboratory and one of the largest and most modern programming centers in Europe, Gleichmann & Co Electronics takes a leading role in terms of service and customer support.
