Das in CMIs Super MVA (Multi-domain Vertical Alignment)-Technologie gefertigte WXGA-Display zeichnet sich nicht nur durch eine hohe Auflösung von 1280 x 800 Pixel bei einem Kontrastverhältnis von 1200:1 und 400 cd Helligkeit, sondern auch durch einen weiten Blickwinkel von 88° in allen Richtungen aus. Dadurch lässt sich das G121I1-L01 uneingeschränkt sowohl im Portrait- als auch im Landscape-Format einsetzen.
Zu den weiteren Ausstattungsmerkmalen des 278 x 184 x 8 mm3 großen Displaymoduls zählen ein LVDS-Interface für die einfache Integration in bestehende Applikationen und ein integrierter Treiber für das LED-Backlight. Die Lebensdauer der LED-Hintergrundbeleuchtung bis zum Erreichen der halben Helligkeit ist mit mindestens 50.000 Stunden spezifiziert.
