MSC Technologies offers extremely robust TFT displays from Mitsubishi with high vibration resistance

MSC Technologies, a business unit of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), has expanded its lineup of TFT-LCD modules from Mitsubishi. The three new modules are characterized by a hitherto unattained extreme ruggedness. The industrial displays feature a high vibration resistance of 6.8 G and are designed for operation over an extremely wide temperature range of -40 to +85 degrees Celsius. At the same time, all modules offer very high brightness of 1500 or 1200 cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 700:1 for optimal visibility even in bright environments. The lifetime of the LED backlight is specified at 100,000 hours. With these characteristics, the robust displays are especially suitable for factory automation applications, for outdoor use and in mobile systems that are used in extreme environments, for example, construction vehicles.

The AT070MJ11 TFT display from Mitsubishi with integrated TN technology features a WVGA resolution of 800 x 480 pixels with a screen diagonal of 7.0-inch (17.78 cm). The viewing angle is 140 degrees vertical and 160 degrees horizontal. The panel has a LVDS interface. The active screen area size is 152.4 mm (H) x 91.44 mm (V) and the module outline dimensions are 169.8 mm (W) x 109.7 mm (H) x 8.9 mm (D).

The AT104SN11 10.4-inch (26.42 cm) TFT display from Mitsubishi provides a SVGA resolution of 800 x 600 pixels. The viewing angle is specified as 160 degrees (horizontal and vertical). This LCD module is also equipped with a LVDS 6/8 bit interface. The display area is 211.2 mm (H) x 158.4 mm (V).

Mitsubishi‘s AT104XH11 LC module AT104XH11 with XGA resolution (1024 x 768) has a size of 10.4 inch (26.42 cm). The brightness is 1200 cd/m², the viewing angle is 160 degrees (horizontal and vertical).

All three Mitsubishi products come with anti-glare and hard-coating 3H surface treatment.
