NEC Electronics' µPG2253T6S, a front-end integrated circuit designed specifically for Bluetooth Class 1 designs, features 19 dBm output power at just 95 mA circuit current.

This device, which is now available from Gleichmann Electronics, includes a 2.4 GHz amplifier, a 2 bypass switch and a low-pass filter. The supply voltage is specified at 2.7 to 3.6 V.

The µPG2253T6S, housed in a 16-pin PQFN package with dimensions of just 3.0 x 3.0 x 0.75 mm, is ideally suited for building very small, powerful 2.4 GHz radio systems. If needed, Gleichmann Electronics can also provide relevant reference kits.
