Family of 96W and 150W Programmable Outdoor LED Drivers with Dim-to-Off Function

(PresseBox) (Stutensee, Germany, )
MSC Technologies, a business group of Avnet Electronics Marketing EMEA, a business region of Avnet Inc. (NYSE: AVT), is offering a broad array of 96W and 150W programmable constant current LED drivers for lighting applications including street, area, high bay, roadway, high mast, tunnel and arena lighting. The EUD-096SxxxDT/DV/EUD-150SxxxDT/DV series can be programmed for 0-10V, PWM or time dimming, and has 6 constant-power models to deliver the full 96W/150W at almost any output current between 450mA and 3600mA / 650mA and 5200mA. Each model offers a full load efficiency of 90-91% / 90.5-92.0%, and it provides a 12V/200mA auxiliary output and dim-to-off with ≤ 1W standby power consumption, making it ideal for operation with a wide variety of sensors and controls for even greater energy savings.

These products all operate over a 90-305Vac input range and provide excellent power factor correction (0.99 at 120V and 0.96 at 220V). The new series are approved to UL, CUL, FCC, ENEC, TUV, CE, CB and CCC standards. The high efficiency and robust thermal design of these drivers enables the products to run cooler, significantly improving reliability and extending product life. The lifetime of these drivers is calculated to be 1110000 / 120,000 hours when operating at 80% load with a case temperature of 60°C.

To insure trouble-free operation, the EUD96S / EUD-150S product family also features over-voltage, over-temperature, and short-circuit protection. In addition the metal housing is IP67 rated and allows use for both indoors and outdoors applications.
