MPDV, a leading provider of manufacturing IT, has been positioned in the Challengers quadrant of the 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Manufacturing Execution Systems*.

The management comments

"We consider our positioning in the Challengers quadrant as a confirmation of our mission," said Nathalie Kletti, Vice President Enterprise Development and member of the MPDV management board. "We are continuously working on innovations, while at the same time we are further improving our well-established products. As part of the upcoming HANNOVER MESSE, we are again talking about innovations that we believe will change manufacturing IT considerably and further expand our market position.”

Innovation vs. consistency

MPDV has always been both, a pioneer in the MES environment and a vocal advocate of usability. “In our opinion, innovation must serve the user and not just be an expression of innovative capability", explains Nathalie Kletti, "our customers appreciate this and reward us with their loyalty". More than 1,400 MES installations worldwide prove this strikingly. MPDV provides the well-established Manufacturing Execution System (MES) HYDRA and the open Manufacturing Integration Platform (MIP) and demonstrates that manufacturing IT does not always have to be tied to a single supplier. Nathalie Kletti adds: "We believe that being positioned in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Manufacturing Execution Systems is proof for us being on the right track with our approach.”
