mobieTV and MOBILKING generate big traffic on the mobile web

Three months after its deployment on MOBILKING'S wireless network, MoVidi, a mobile video-sharing service, has become a real success story for Poland's largest mobile virtual network operator: Approximately 150 000 MOBILKING users have been enjoying the UGC service which was developed by the German company mobieTV. Over 3000 video downloads per month and more than 20.000 page views demonstrate that mobile users are interested in user-generated interactive entertainment in spite of the economic downturn. MoVidi enables users of multimedia phones to post and watch video clips without the need to install special software or tools.
