miniCASTER® expands its international reseller network

miniCASTER® is now available in nine countries

(PresseBox) (Unterföhring, )
miniCASTER®, the pocket sized mobile live encoder that streams any camera signal in TV quality directly to the web is expanding its reseller network more and more.

In early October 2011 the first resellers from Germany, France and the USA signed contracts and started selling in their region. Today you can also order miniCASTER® at certified distribution partners in the Czech Republic, Egypt, The Netherlands, Slovakia, Spain and the UK. Moreover other countries will follow in the next weeks.

After buying a miniCASTER® either from a reseller or directly from the miniCASTER® shop customers are invited to register their device at my.minicaster.com. This enables them to access the web-based remote management portal. Registered miniCASTER® devices can be configured, controlled and operated from all over the world in real-time. This enables operators to control even unmanned units on-site without leaving their facility. But it is also possible to receive valuable feedback from the device itself.

Remote Management at my.minicaster.com

At my.minicaster.com the user is given a full set of different presets. After the login a short overview shows registered devices with their current online or offline status. By choosing a miniCASTER® a more detailed view is displayed, listing all the information like serial, MAC-adress, firmware version, battery status and used connections. Also all kind of different profiles like LAN, WiFi, Mobile Internet, Input, Encoding, Output and Delivery "CDN" can be customized to the individual needs.

Michael Westphal, CEO: "I am very glad that our reseller base is growing fast and therefore international customers now have the chance to get their hands on miniCASTER® at a reseller in their area. A truly mobile encoder that streams up to full HD and delivers up to three different streams in parallel and records directly on SD card is already unique. But being able to operate the device remotely is the key to sell many devices to really broad market from a resellers perspective."

miniCASTER® c/o TV1 GmbH

miniCASTER® is a truly mobile hardware based H.264 live encoder that converts any camera or video source signal into an IP based livestream and delivers it via landline, WiFi, satellite or cellular networks to the leading Content Delivery Networks and video platforms. Through a built-in lithium battery it is possible to work stand-alone. miniCASTER® generates one HD and one SD Stream in parallel and is able to record on SD-Card in the device itself at the same time. The mobile live encoder in pocket size comes in two different versions and can be operated in real-time via a web-based remote management portal.
