560 fps with 4 megapixel resolution

(PresseBox) (Unterschleissheim, )
Video analyses of highly complex, very fast processes in extremely constricted cameras with small dimensions that can provide extremely detailed high resolution images.

The new MotionBLITZ CVR (Compact Versatile Recording) system from Mikrotron offers a solution. This is because it is a divided system that consists of a compact camera head and a recording system that is connected to the camera by a 20 meter long cable. This combination unleashes the unused potential of the high performance EoSens 4CXP camera with its minimal dimensions (80 x 80 x 53 mm, C mount) and the special RAID recorder in industrial and research environments of all kinds to produce extremely precise event analyses. For example, individual production steps of highly complex, extremely fast production processes can be recorded in the highest resolutions up to the μm area and precisely analyzed.

Video sequences of up to 12 seconds can be recorded at 560 fps at a resolution of 2,336 x 1,728 pixels directly into the recorder’s RAM. The extremely quick data download of the RAM into the system’s RAID drive means the recorder is ready for use again in under four minutes.

As a system component, the EoSens CXP camera offers many application advantages. At reduced resolution in full HD format 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, rates of 900 fps can be achieved. The continuous ongoing reduction of resolution guarantees up to 35,000 frames per second. In addition, there are the advantages of high light sensitivity in monochrome of 3,200 ASA and 2,400 ASA with RGB.The configuration and operation of the complete CVR system is particularly easy using the tried and tested MotionBLITZ Director 2 software module. Software tools such as Lifeview, video processing and export functions expand the flexibility and application possibilities. Many additional options make it possible to individually adapt the system to meet your personal needs.
