Commercial success nowadays requires the ability to put new ideas into practice quickly and adjust your organization to move with the times. This involves adapting often complex IT systems to suit new aims and business processes. With its open modeling platform Innovator, MID provides a tool which enables precisely that, both quickly and efficiently.
The company has updated its entire product range over the last two years. This practically effortless procedure was all down to the well-engineered innovation management. MID included its clients in all innovation processes right from the very beginning.
The users were able to test the new developments live at the annual "Insight" user conference. The company met once each annual quarter at the "MID Innovator User Association" to discuss requirements and product wishes with the official client body, whose members include employees of the Federal Employment Office, Daimler, DATEV, Deutsche Telekom and Barmer GEK. Members used a web-based system to electronically agree upon details to be included in the new version of Innovator. "This enabled us to seamlessly move to a new product generation. Our clients were the ones to profit from this", declared managing director Jochen Seemann.
The Vienna University of Economy and Business examined the innovative performances of medium-sized companies in Germany. The top 100, which includes MID, carry the title "Top Job Employer 2011" for a year. "Applications critical to the running of the business also need to be able to be quickly adapted if company aims and business processes change. The driving force of our innovation management is to enable our clients to achieve just that with our solutions" , explained Seemann.
