All changes made to models can be consistently traced, which is an important prerequisite for any integrated compliance management. Innovator for Software Architects now makes it possible to use the Innovator UML 2.1 edition with the new product generation and enables UML, BPMN and data models to be seamlessly linked.
This means that model-to-model links can now be visualized and edited between all model types using the old favorite, the whiteboard overview diagram. The whiteboard can be used for visualizing relationships between business process, requirements or software models, as well as reviewing and editing modifications and their consequences in realtime. This is a real advantage in productivity when working in distributed teams
When it comes to understanding flows and relationships, the new Innovator 11 R4 model animator makes dynamics visible: process paths or complete flows can be recorded and played back again using the animator.
Another focus lies in the creation and editing of requirements. This is simpler than ever before with Innovator 11 R4: the new Microsoft Office integration synchronizes textual requirements in Word (coming soon with Excel) with Innovator models.
"We want to make it easier for our customers to achieve their project aims and meet their compliance specifications. Innovator 11 R4 provides important innovation allowing us to redefine transparency in the project and communication within teams." sums up MID managing director Jochen Seemann.
