40 Neuerungen in in-STEP BLUE

Mit Version 5.1.11 der Projektmanagement-Software in-STEP BLUE hat die Berliner Firma microTOOL 40 Neuerungen, Verbesserungen und Fehlerbeseitigungen veröffentlicht. Die neue Version bietet unter anderem Funktionen für den Import und Export von Anforderungen, für die Verteilung von Dokumentvorlagen an ausgewählte Projekte und die Aktualisierung vorhandener Vorlagen, sowie für das Einblenden und Ausblenden von Kontextbefehlen.

in-STEP BLUE ist eine Projektmanagement-Software, die das Arbeiten von Prozessen und Methoden in Projekten unterstützt. Neben einer klassischen Planung und Steuerung von Terminen, Aufwänden und Kosten, bietet das Tool auch inhaltliche Unterstützung, beispielsweise im Umgang mit Anforderungen, Änderungsanträgen, Tickets, Testfällen, Ideen oder Risiken. Mit der Version 5.1.11 steht fortan eine neue Schnittstelle zum Austausch von Anforderungen zwischen verschiedenen Softwarelösungen zur Verfügung. Die ReqIF (Requirements Interchange Format) Schnittstelle – weit verbreitet in der Automobilindustrie – ermöglicht den Austausch von Anforderungen via Import und Export und somit die Kombination vorhandener Tools mit in-STEP BLUE. Mit der aktuellen Version können Anwender neue Autofilter verwenden, bei der Generierung von PDF Dokumenten lassen sich Wasserzeichen einfügen und der Mailversand zur Notifikation der Mitarbeiter wurde optimiert. Zusätzlich wurde das automatisierte Zurückgeben von Dokumenten und Formularen integriert und Pflichtfelder in Formularen werden bereits beim Speichern überprüft. Auch die Aktualisierung von Dokumentvorlagen wurde erleichtert, ein Feature, das gerade bei Organisationen mit vielen Projekten und vielen Vorlagen stark nachgefragt wurde. Die Möglichkeit, das Angebot an verfügbaren Kontextbefehlen zu reduzieren, wird die Nutzung für Anwender ebenfalls erleichtern.
