MICROS rebrands its new retail group Torex

Neuss, (PresseBox) - MICROS Systems, Inc., a leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality and retail industries, is pleased to announce that its subsidiary Torex, a European market leader for store systems in Retail, Hospitality, Convenience and Fuel markets has rebranded to MICROS. Now the complemented solution portfolio allows for MICROS to expand its customer base and its market via the new retail operating regions in Northern, Central and Southern Europe.

MICROS launched its retail and services business with the acquisition of Datavantage in the USA, a decade ago. Since then MICROS not only increased its solution competency but its omni-channel retail portfolio helped numerous customer brands to safely expand internationally.

MICROS's retail footprint has grown to include a premiere client base across the globe such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Gucci, Swarowski, Tourneau, Nike, Tesco, Rewe and France Telecom. Torex rebranding to MICROS represents the completion of the full integration of the Torex retail solutions and products into the MICROS's suite for the hospitality and retail industries.
