MICROS-Fidelio has been named a preferred vendor for front office Property Management Systems (PMS) and technical integration by Design Hotels(TM) - its "Original" properties stand for individual, aesthetic and service-driven experience worldwide.
There are several qualities Design Hotels(TM) looked for in a preferred vendor. Reputation in the hospitality industry is certainly important, as are challenges such as on time performance and high quality of solutions and services. The purpose of this strategic partnership is to strengthen the relationship with a substantial number of Design Hotel(TM) properties already using MICROS solutions, to leverage from a preferred technical integration with Design Hotels(TM) current Central Reservation System (CRS) and Revenue Management System (RMS) partners, while MICROS grants preferential pricing for its PMS solutions and for interfaces. This agreement offers Design Hotels(TM) to leverage from MICROS' know-how and image in particular in the deluxe and high-end hotel segments worldwide. Further on, it offers the advantage of individual MICROS PMS solutions either OPERA or Suite 8 to serve the needs of outstanding hotels and hoteliers.
In addition, Design Hotel(TM) members can benefit from MICROS eCommerce solutions geared to enable hotel guests to manage their stay with the help of all sorts of mobile devices and applications.
