Wearable Technologies Show: More performance, more safety, more fun!
For more than seven years, the WT conferences organised by Wearable Technologies have been the networking event of the WT sector and have taken place in leading locations such as San Francisco, Munich, Taipei and Beijing. Alongside innovative start-ups, global corporations are also involved from the semiconductors, telecommunications, consumer electronics, healthcare and sporting goods sectors. On the 4th of February 2013 the next WT conference will take place as part of the world's leading trade fair Sports ISPO in Munich. Once again more than 150 renowned experts from these sectors as well as representatives of leading venture capital enterprises are expected at the WT conference which will link start-ups, established companies, research institutes, investors, designers and students.
Besides the one-day expert conference, as part of the Wearable Technologies Show the latest products from one of the fastest growing markets of the sports and healthcare branch will be presented at the ISPO 2013 from the 3rd to the 6th of February 2013. This year the focus is on the themes "more performance", "more safety" and "more fun in sport". "New product developments in the Wearable Technology sector have been able to continuously create strong momentum and successful market trends in previous years. The rapid technological progress paves the way for the implementation of visionary ideas in ever-smaller intervals of time. This means that new possibilities clearly improve the safety of many sporting activities, enhance the performance and the fun", WT CEO Christian Stammel is convinced.
