Füllmengenkontrollen, wie sie von der Fertigpackungsverordnung (FPVO) verlangt werden, können mit dem neuen IND890SQC unter Berücksichtigung wirtschaftlicher Aspekte durchgeführt werden. Neben der Erfassung von Netto-Füllmengen per Stichproben und der richtlinienkonformen Dokumentation liefert das IND890SQC Meldungen, welche zum Beispiel bei Überfüllung von Packungen das Eingreifen in die Prozesse ermöglicht. Teure Überfüllung und gesetzeswidrige Unterfüllungen werden somit vermieden. Über die integrierte Produktdatenbank können einzelnen Artikeln unterschiedliche Toleranzsysteme zugeordnet werden - je nach Norm und Vorschrift des Ziellandes.
Berichte und Statistiken werden zum einfachen Datenaustausch mit IT-Systemen als PDF auf einen USB-Stick kopiert oder können per Ethernet-Verbindung in einem Ordner des Firmennetzwerkes abgespeichert werden. Über weitere Schnittstellenoptionen sind Drucker und Barcode-Scanner anschließbar sowie direkte Verbindungen mit PCs (per RS232) herstellbar.
Um Konfigurationen des IND890SQC zu schützen und Manipulationen zu erschweren, werden mehrere Benutzerprofile unterstützt, über die verschiedene Benutzerrechte definiert werden können.
