• New: online applications for IFAT CHINA + EPTEE + CWS 2010 now possible
Six months ahead of IFAT CHINA + EPTEE + CWS 2010, which takes place between 5 and 7 May in the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), many important companies in the sector have already applied to take part. The list includes for example Siemens AG , WILO China Ltd., Danfoss (Shanghai) Automatic Controls Ltd., Shanghai Centrifuge Institute Co. Ltd., VAG Water Systems (Taicang) Co. Ltd., Jiangsu Zhaosheng Water Industry Equipment Group Co. Ltd. and Andritz Technologies Ltd., all exhibiting in the sections on water and sewage treatment, plus others such as Piller Industrieventilatoren GmbH in the section on biochemical processes, and Paques Environmental Technology (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., which will be exhibiting in the new themed area on 'membrane and fittings'.
Applications from further exhibitors wishing to take part in IFAT CHINA + EPTEE + CWS are welcome. The completed application documents can be sent in by post or fax, as usual, or this year for the first time, online, via the fair’s website: www.ifat-china.com. The deadline for receipt of applications is 22 January 2010.
IFAT CHINA + EPTEE + CWS will take up four exhibition halls at the SNIEC (Halls E1, E2, E3 and E4), amounting to over 40,000 square meters of space. In total around 1,100 exhibitors and approximately 38,000 visitors are expected to take part in this event.

About IFAT CHINA + EPTEE + CWS
Messe München International (MMI), the organizer of IFAT CHINA, and Shanghai ZM International Exhibition Co., Ltd., the organizer of China EPTEE + CWS Show for Water, Air, Waste, Energy and Recycling, are putting on IFAT CHINA + EPTEE + CWS, a joint event taking place from 5 to 7 May 2010 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). IFAT CHINA 2008 attracted 362 exhibitors and over 10,500 visitors. The proportion of exhibitors from outside China was again very high, at over 50 percent. In 2009 EPTEE + CWS, a strong national trade fair, hosted a total of 756 exhibitors and over 32,000 visitors. With the strong international profile of IFAT CHINA and the strong national importance of EPTEE + CWS, the two trade fairs complement each other very well in terms of both exhibitors and visitors. In 2010, up to 1,100 exhibitors and round about 38,000 visitors are expected to take part in this joint event which will cover four halls of the SNIEC and a total of 40,000 square meters.
