AiM hat im Laufe der letzten 20 Jahre die Abgastemperaturfühler permanent weiterentwickelt und verbessert. Dieser Sensor ist immer ein Kompromiss aus Ansprechverhalten, Langlebigkeit und Preis. Die letzte Änderung vom Februar 2013 hat neben akzeptablem Ansprechverhalten auch die gewünschte langfristige Zuverlässigkeit bewirkt, wobei man nicht vergessen darf, dass ein Abgastemperaturfühler auch weiterhin ein Verschleißteil ist.

Eine Preisanpassung für Abgas-Sensoren haben wir seit 1997 nicht mehr vollzogen, obwohl deren Erstehungskosten regelmäßig höher wurden. Nun kommen wir nicht mehr daran vorbei und passen die Preise zum 1.9.2014 an. Der Bruttopreis erhöht sich dadurch um 15,47 € (inkl. 19% MwSt.).

Zeitgleich starten wir den Verkauf des neuen, deutlich dynamischeren Abgassensors Typ Ultraschnell. Er spricht in beiden Richtungen deutlich schneller an, was auch dazu führt, dass auf einer Geraden ein höherer Spitzenwert und in Kurven ein niedrigerer Wert im Vergleich zum Standardsensor gemessen wird.

Diese Preisanpassung betrifft auch die MyChron4 Kits, bei denen sich der Bruttopreis um 16,66 € (inkl. 19% MwSt.) erhöht, wenn das Gerät mit Standard-Abgastemperaturfühler statt Wassertemperaturfühler bestellt wird, bzw. um 55,93 € (inkl. 19% MwSt.), wenn es zusammen mit dem Ultraschnell Sensor geliefert wird.
