Against the background of these excellent quarter results, Memorysolution sees its strategic decision to refocus on core business areas and to demerge the takeMS business line proven right. That step successfully strengthened thee companies’ position as leading specialist for proprietary memory expansions and current flash memory components in Germany and one of the top memory module specialists within the European market.
„The concentration on our core business and the resulting reduction of overhead in the positive sense of a ‘deslagging’ has literally boosted our business performance”, says Gerald Diercks, former and present Managing Director of Memorysolution GmbH. “We always were and still are the experts for all kind of memory solutions, and nothing has changed in that. The shown increase in sales compared to the quarter before the cut-off of takeMS once more is a proof for our potential. The very successful strategic partnership with Qimonda is the natural and logic completion of our brand portfolio. Already since 2005, we are distributor for AENEON™ A-brand modules. There is significant evidence that in providing what we always did best – high performing certified A-brand memory modules, which our dealers and channel partners can rely on - we are on the right way, proving our successful commitment in this field.”
As of August 15, 2006 the distribution agreement between Memorysolution and takeMS International AG was mutually withdrawn, distribution of takeMS products was stopped. That will not have any effect on customers of Memorysolution, which will receive the same excellent service level they are accustomed to: „No more being a distributor for takeMS after that short a time not really comes as a surprise. One thing however is for sure: we always were and in the future will be the reliable partner of choice for all solutions our customers and the market require. Without any doubt that will include high quality, global A-brand flash memory components at competitive prices and in the packaging that our customers request”, so Diercks continues.
