Trotz behördlicher Abschaltung halten ic3s-Kunden über SMS-Kontakt zu Mitarbeitern in Ägypten

Einen aktiven Beitrag zur Informationsfreiheit in Ägypten hat die Tangstedter ic3S AG mit ihren professionellen Nachrichtenlösungen über Mobilfunk geliefert. Gut fünf Tage lang waren auf Anordnung der ägyptischen Behörden das Internet und die Mobilfunknetze des Landes weitest gehend abgeschaltet worden. Somit war auch die Kommunikation für Kunden der ic3S AG zu ihren Niederlassungen und Mitarbeitern in Ägypten in dieser Zeit nahezu unmöglich. Den Spezialisten des Tangstedter High Tech-Unternehmens ist es jedoch gelungen, eine "SMS-Brücke" über Skandinavien aufzubauen, damit Kurznachrichten per Mobilfunk zumindest nach Ägypten gesendet und dort empfangen werden konnten. Der ic3S AG ist diese technische Meisterleistung gelungen, obwohl eigentlich alle SMS-Routen nach Ägypten geschlossen waren.
