The Masterflex AG offers customised solutions for specific applications: Master-Clip thermal and insulating hoses permit conveying gaseous media without significant temperature loss.

Master-Clip thermal and insulating hoses are tailored to customers' needs, considering the specific applications for which they are intended. These special hoses are designed to transport gaseous media over a certain distance while keeping temperature loss to a minimum. The materials used for the inner and the outer hose determine the properties of the thermal and insulating hose. Masterflex provides customised solutions made from different materials, all of which offer perfect insulation - no matter what customers may require.

Customers can choose from the following Master-Clip standard hoses suiting their particular application:

- hoses for heating, ventilation and welding fume extraction
- medium- and high-temperature hoses for up to +1.100 °C
- chemical hoses
- exhaust hoses
- vulcanised hoses for up to +250 °C
- static dissipative and conductive hoses
- abrasion-resistant hoses

Unlike fixed pipe systems, thermal and insulating hoses can be bent and may be even be highly flexible which allows them to reduce noise, vibrations and temperature loss to a minimum.

"Our hose systems cover temperature ranges from -260 °C up to +1.100 °C. All of our thermal and insulating hoses are highly versatile and can be employed in a great number of applications," Beitz continues. "Applications include ventilation and air conditioning technology, materials handling in mechanical engineering and vehicle manufacturing or heat and cold insulation systems."

Depending on the required hose type, Master-Clip thermal and insulation hoses are available in diameters ranging from DN38 to DN1000 and in maximum lengths of four meters. It goes without saying that Masterflex also offers various connecting elements that allow direct hose connections. The galvanised or stainless steel band helix found on the outside due to design-related reasons also acts as an excellent wear strip if used on floors.
