Neue iPhone-App der WirtschaftsWoche mit innovativer HTML5-Technologie

Seit Anfang August steht die Zeitschrift WirtschaftsWoche der Verlagsgruppe Handelsblatt auch als iPhone-App zur Verfügung. Realisiert wurde die neue iPhone-App mit dem tango applisher®, der ersten App-Lösung auf dem Markt, die gestaltete digitale Magazine für das iPad und HTML5-basierte Ausgaben für iOS und Android in einer Basis-App vereint. Die Bedienung ist auf dem Tablet und dem Smartphone weitgehend identisch. Die Darstellung wurde dem jeweiligen Ausgabegerät angepasst, um ein optimales Leseerlebnis zu erzielen.

Die Erstellung der Daten für die App erfolgt mittels innovativer HTML5-Technologien in einem automatisierten Prozess aus der gemeinsamen Datenbasis für Print, iPad, iPhone und ePaper, die mit dem Publishing-System tango media von MarkStein Software aufgesetzt wurde. Zur Aufbereitung der Daten werden einzigartige Features des Systems wie "Hybride Texte", Hierarchisierung und Content-Links genutzt.

Die ersten beiden iPhone-Ausgaben der WirtschaftsWoche sind kostenlos im iTunes Store downloadbar: http://bit.ly/ZiU7jN. Die App beinhaltet ein Shop-System, über das weitere (kostenpflichtige) Ausgaben nachgeladen werden können.
