According to a recent study by the "WirtschaftsWoche", the organisation is now one of the fastest growing medium-sized German businesses. In the ranking of the 100 best drawn up by the "WirtschaftsWoche" in collaboration with the Munich-based professor of economics Bernd Venohr, MAPAL Dr. Kress KG is in 28th place in the list of the fastest growing medium-sized German businesses. For the study the growth rates of 1500 German organisations with a turnover from 50 million to 1000 million euros were analysed over the period from 2001 to 2010.

These organisations find gaps in the market, are innovative, have an international base and robust finance, and have established a compelling brand according to the professor of economics.

The organisation is managed by Dr. Dieter Kress and his son Dr. Jochen Kress. During the period of the study MAPAL was able to more than double its turnover. In 2012 the turnover was 440 million euros.
