Das hohe Alter ist eine tiefe Verneigung vor dem Leben. Wie es gelingt, dem Lebensabend ein wertschätzendes und hilfreiches Umfeld zu geben, ist Thema der Fachkonferenz Bau und Betrieb von Senioren- und Pflegeeinrichtungen.

Bauherren, Vertreter von Trägern, Kommunen und Betreibern, sowie Fachplaner, Architekten und Dienstleister treffen sich zum Erfahrungs- und Informationsaustausch. Schwerpunkte der Veranstaltung sind neue Konzepte für Wohn- und Pflegeformen sowie Architektur / Innenarchitektur für attraktive und rentable Häuser. Fachvorträge zur Baukostenermittlung, der Vergleich von konventionellem und Modulbau, die Gartengestaltung für Menschen mit Demenz sowie ein effektiver Brandschutz sind weitere Themen. Ebenso wie innovative Konzepte für die Pflegeassistenz.

Die Teilnehmer besuchen das Caritas-Zentrum St. Franziskus in Mannheim. Mit dem Altenheim Zukunftspreis 2016 ausgezeichnete Einrichtung, die für ein gelungenes Miteinander unterschiedlicher Wohn- und Hilfeformen steht.
