MAN supports investigations by public prosecution authorities

The Munich offices of MAN AG and MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG, as well as branches of MAN Truck & Bus Deutschland, were searched today by members of Munich's public prosecution office (Staatsanwaltschaft München I) in the course of preliminary investigations. According to the public prosecution office, there are grounds to suspect that between 2002 and 2005 hidden commission totaling approx. €1 million was paid in Germany and several million euros in other countries in connection with sales of commercial vehicles.
