EuroBLECH with new logo

Stand reservation for 2014 has begun

(PresseBox) (St Albans, )
The next EuroBLECH, the World’s Leading Sheet Metal Working Technology Exhibition, will take place from 21 – 25 October 2014 at the Hanover Exhibition Grounds in Germany. In the marketing campaign for EuroBLECH 2014, exhibition organisers, Mack Brooks Exhibitions, presents the exhibition brand in a fresh design. The advertising campaign features a new exhibition logo, which is clearly recognisable, precisely cut and, of course, in sheet metal appearance.

“For more than thirty years, since 1980, we have been using the ‘Blech’ and later the ‘EuroBLECH’ logo written in a style of bent sheet metal. Over all these years, the sheet metal working industry has developed into a high-tech industry sector for cutting-edge technology, doing business on a global scale. As the leading trade exhibition for the sheet metal working industry, EuroBLECH has continuously been reflecting the technological advancements; and now we thought it was time to also adapt the logo to a new era of sheet metal working technology. In order to guarantee brand recognition we kept EuroBLECH’s distinctive purple colour,” says Nicola Hamann, Exhibition Director EuroBLECH, on behalf of the organisers, Mack Brooks Exhibitions.

Exhibitor information
An exhibitor brochure including important information about stand reservation at EuroBLECH 2014 is now available in five languages. The brochure can be ordered via the newly designed show website www.euroblech.com or directly from the organisers, Mack Brooks Exhibitions.

EuroBLECH 2014, the 23rd International Sheet Metal Working Technology Exhibition, will, once again, cover halls 11,12,13,14,15,16,17 and 27 at the Hanover Exhibition Grounds. The exhibition profile comprises the entire sheet metal working technology chain: sheet metal, semi-finished and finished products, handling, separation, forming, flexible sheet metal working, joining, welding and surface treatment, processing of hybrid structures, tools, quality control, CAD/CAM systems and R&D.

In the exhibitor survey at the previous show EuroBLECH 2012 was rated extremely positive by exhibiting companies. More than 70% of all exhibitors indicated on-site that they intended to exhibit again at EuroBLECH 2014.

Exhibition analysis EuroBLECH 2012
EuroBLECH 2012 was a highly successful exhibition with a strong focus on innovative technology. A total of 1,505 exhibitors from 39 countries and 60,185 visitors from 98 countries attended the show which covered a net exhibition space of 84,000 m2. (EuroBLECH is audited by FKM, Society for Voluntary Control of Fair and Exhibition Statistics.)

With 48% of the exhibitors and 34% of the visitors coming from outside Germany, the percentage of foreign exhibitors has grown again, while the percentage of visitors from outside Germany has slightly decreased. Top exhibitor countries outside Germany were Italy, Turkey, China, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, Austria, France and the USA. Most important visitor countries alongside Germany were Austria, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, Great Britain, Italy, Denmark, Belgium, India, the Czech Republic and Poland.

The exhibition analysis clearly shows the gap in the economic situation of the different countries, in particular within the EU. While German companies assess the economic climate as thoroughly positive, the evaluation of the current economic situation has further decreased for exhibitors from outside Germany. Nevertheless some two thirds of all exhibitors were able to fully or largely reach their target groups at EuroBLECH 2012, and the other third at least partially. Besides approaching new markets, important aims of exhibiting were attracting new customers, product presentation and customer care. When asked about the five most important future markets for the industry sector, exhibitors referred to Germany followed by the four BRIC-countries Russia, China, India and Brazil.

Exhibitors again praised the event for the high quality and number of visitors, expert talks and contact with potential customers at their stands. The quota of visitors from top management was very high; more than every forth visitor belonged to the management of a company or was the owner of a company. There was a significant shift towards more visitors from the industry (76% of all visitors) and from larger companies with more than 500 employees (23% of all visitors). With regards to German visitors, there were again more visitors from workshops. Some 50,000 visitors at EuroBLECH 2012 were involved in purchasing decisions and every third visitor came to the show with concrete investment plans.

The majority of visitors came from engineering, the sheet metal and products sector, steel and aluminium construction and the automotive industry and its suppliers. The main areas of responsibility were fabrication/production, management and Research & Development.

According to the exhibition survey, visitors mainly expected a general overview of what is available, information about technical innovations and to find new products for potential use. At the exhibition stands visitors were primarily looking for personal consultations and live machine demonstrations.

Altogether, visitors were extremely positive about EuroBLECH 2012. Ninety seven per cent of the visitors rated the show as definitely worthwhile and 93% stated they would recommend the exhibition to their colleagues.

Innovative technology for an international trade audience
“At EuroBLECH 2012, exhibiting companies, once again, presented a top-class range of innovative technology to highly qualified trade visitors from all over the world. The exhibition was therefore able to further develop its position as the world’s leading event and business barometer for the sheet metal working industry. EuroBLECH stands for innovation and quality and attracts a highly international trade audience. For companies ready to invest in the latest machines, tools and systems for sheet metal working, the exhibition is the first point of contact when it comes to sourcing the right equipment. For suppliers and manufacturers of sheet metal working technology, EuroBLECH is the central hub for business on a global scale,” says Show Director Nicola Hamann.
