International show organiser Mack Brooks Exhibitions Group has acquired the rights to the International Converting Exhibition (ICE) series of exhibitions from nimble shows & media GmbH. ICE takes place every two years in Munich, Shanghai and Manchester. The event serves the interests of the converting community; the show in Munich is Europe’s leading exhibition exclusively focusing upon paper, film and foil converting.
ICE 2007 took place at Munich’s M,O,C, exhibition centre with great success in March last year and the next event, scheduled for 24 - 26 November 2009 at the Munich M,O,C, is already close to selling out. Mack Brooks Exhibitions Group has also entered into an agreement to take over the rights to ICE UK which takes place in Manchester from 4 - 5 March 2009 and the ICE China exhibition which took place in January 2008 in Shanghai for the first time to rave reviews.
Michael Boyle, Managing Director of nimble shows & media GmbH, will continue to work on the exhibition series in a new advisory role for Mack Brooks Exhibitions Group and Franz Hermann will continue as Sales Director of the events. Michael Boyle and Franz Hermann will furthermore continue in their roles as publishers and owners of the trade magazines C2 Europe and C2 Deutschland.
