Converting Community looks forward to ICE Europe 2015

(PresseBox) (St Albans, )
The next ICE Europe will be held in a year’s time; from 10-12 March 2015, the world’s leading exhibition for the conversion of flexible, web-based materials, such as paper, film, foil and nonwovens will open its doors again at the Munich Trade Fair Centre in Germany.

The previous ICE Europe was a huge success. With 400 exhibitors, 6,600 visitors and a net exhibition space of more than 10,000m2 the event was the biggest ever exhibition for the converting industry. Show Director Nicola Hamann is therefore confident for the future of the industry sector: “ICE Europe 2013 proved that the converting industry is full of potential. With the ever-increasing worldwide demand for added-value products and for flexible packaging, there is a need for innovative, efficient and environmental-friendly production solutions. For suppliers and manufacturers of machines, systems and accessories, ICE Europe is a key platform to meet with industry professionals looking for innovative equipment and solutions.”

More than 300 exhibitors have already reserved their stands
A year ahead of ICE Europe 2015 more than 300 exhibitors from 19 countries have already reserved a total of 9,400m2 in exhibition space. The show will once again take place in halls A5 and A6, accessible via the Entrance East of the Munich Trade Fair Centre. The newly designed multilingual exhibition website www.ice-x.com offers detailed information for companies interested in exhibiting, as well as figures, facts, photos, videos and news about the world’s leading exhibition for the converting industry. The new exhibitor brochure can also be ordered via the show website.

The exhibition profile of ICE Europe includes machines, accessories and systems for coating and laminating, drying/curing, treatment, slitting/rewinding, finishing and flexographic / rotogravure printing. Materials, software, retrofits, factory equipment, control / test and measurement as well as consulting and toll converting services will also be on display.

Top ratings for highly qualified trade audience
Visitors at ICE Europe are highly qualified industry experts, mainly from production, management and R&D. The show attracts managing directors, plant managers, design and production engineers, technical managers, purchasers and sales and marketing directors from a wide range of industry sectors including packaging, food, pharmaceutical, furniture, electronics, package printing, wipes, automotive, textiles / nonwovens, chemicals, paper and recycling.

In the exhibition survey, ICE Europe 2013 received excellent marks for its highly qualified trade visitors: 88% of visitors said that they influenced or made purchase decisions. A total of 2,700 visitors came to the show with definite investment plans. As for the exhibitors, 95% said that they had achieved their aims at ICE Europe 2013.

Exhibition for the corrugated and folding carton industry will be co-located again
CCE International 2015 will once again be co-located with ICE Europe 2015. CCE International, the only trade fair in Europe specifically targeted to the corrugated and folding carton industry, is also organised by Mack Brooks Exhibitions and will be held in hall B6. The event targets suppliers and manufacturers of raw materials, machines, equipment and services for the production and conversion of corrugated and cartonboard. Visitors at CCE International are corrugated and folding carton converters as well as packaging designers and specifiers. With a total of 110 exhibitors and more than 2,000 visitors from all over the world, the launch event in 2013 was a thorough success. The co-location of this exhibition was well received by ICE Europe exhibitors and visitors alike.

A key event for the international converting community
“Over the past years, ICE Europe has sustainably grown and become the world’s key platform for the converting industry. The show stands for international contacts, expert talks and successful business. A large number of our exhibitors keep telling us that they are already looking forward to the next show with great anticipation. For us as an exhibition organiser, this is proof that we have developed ICE Europe into a modern trade fair with a personal touch in a dynamic market for the entire converting community”, says Nicola Hamann, Exhibition Director ICE Europe, on behalf of Mack Brooks Exhibitions.
