And the PDF Compressor Desktop now has integrated OCR to make files fully text searchable. Intelligently handled input PDFs, with their structure and properties preserved as precisely as possible, make things more convenient as well. Manual settings in the new desktop version have now also been reduced to a minimum; the software automatically finds the optimal settings for each input file.
Useful applications, easy to use.
The new multi-page functionality will be of use to jobseekers, for example, wishing to create a digital application portfolio. They can combine multiple individually scanned references, together with a covering letter and CV, into a multi-page PDF containing all application documents. The file is automatically compressed, making it easy to send by email. The PDF Compressor Desktop is also often used for signed contracts. The last page (containing the signature) is scanned and added to the other parts of the contract, all within a single file which can be output in PDF or PDF/A format.
