Logwin celebrates a successful event for customers and colleagues at the Eschborn-Frankfurt classic public cycle race while raising money for Save the Children

(PresseBox) (Eschborn/Frankfurt/Großostheim, )
Logwin was again represented at the “Eschborn-Frankfurt” classic public cycle race on 1 May 2018 with a team made up of keen sporting customers, partners and colleagues. In addition to being a sponsor and official logistics partner of the race, Logwin also donated 1 euro per cycled km to the children’s rights organization "Save the Children".

In recent years, Logwin's network has been specialising in the transport of bicycles. In 2017, Logwin safely transported almost 400,000 bicycles across its national and international networks. Recipients include specialist and retail traders as well as private customers.

Logwin is one of the leading bicycle logistics companies and since last year has been offering a special bike service for participants in the bike race held on 1 May. You can have your racing bicycle collected at your door by Logwin, and then pick it up again at the event start in Eschborn. Logwin also organizes return transports using specially developed special cartons for transporting private customer bicycles.

Plenty of fun and commitment from the Logwin Racer Team

Logwin has been involved with this amateur race for several years, ensuring fun while taking on a sporting challenge. This year, the Logwin Racer Team consisted of 48 highly motivated colleagues as well as customers and partners. There was catering for the team before, during and after the race, and minor repairs and adjustments could be made by a bicycle mechanic right up to the start of the race.

It was an all-round successful event for Logwin not least because of the fundraising organized by Logwin colleagues. For each of the 4,108 km cycled, Logwin donated 1 euro to the children’s rights organization "Save the Children". Two ergometers were available at the Logwin truck which visitors could use to also pedal for the good cause.

Logwin is delighted with the eventful and successful day in Eschborn and plans to be at the start again next year, cycling for a good cause!
