LOGIC INSTRUMENT, a leading provider of notebooks and tablet PCs for extreme environments, today announced the signing of the contract with the Syndicat des Eaux et de l'Assainissement (SDEA), the water resources management of the French district Lower Rhine (Bas-Rhine). The contract specifies the delivery of the Fieldbook C1 rugged convertible PC, the latest addition to the Fieldbook series. The new contract is valued at a total of €325,710 and confirms the competence of LOGIC INSTRUMENT in the field of rugged mobile computers. The contract validates the strategic decision of LOGIC INSTRUMENTS, to expand its portfolio for industrial computers. Delivery is scheduled for the second half of 2011.

INSTRUMENT was selected by the SDEA, whose main business areas are wastewater systems and the renovation and the distribution of drinking water for over 740,000 people in the Lower Rhine district. In their daily operations, SDEA's field staff are constantly exposed to changing and difficult environments while optimizing processes and controlling work procedures.
