Communication is everything. The motto of the awarded LED Linear could be called like that. At the electronics and electrical engineering experts who develop LED lighting systems, the company management exchanges intensively with the now 105 employees. "Every day I go through the company and try to speak with as many as possible," says Dr. Michael Kramer, who manages the company together with his management colleague Carsten Schaffarz. "I encourage them contribute and implement their own ideas," he adds. Also in the mission statement of the company the subject innovation is anchored.
Roadmaps, that show potential products in the coming years, are pointing the way. The executive suite itself devotes about half of their time to dealing with innovations.
The innovation success of the family company, which celebrates its tenth anniversary this year, is impressive: The top innovator is awarded for the fourth time in a row and even made it to place 3 in the company size 51 and 250 employees. The company generates 60 percent of its sales with market innovations and innovative improvements, which it has brought to the market ahead of the competition. In Germany LED Linear is industry leader, internationally the TOP 100 company is at the top for lighting with linear light.
"Our innovation is based on the continuous renewal of products and processes, creative system solutions for customers and the broad potential of LED technology," said Dr. Michael Kramer. Meaning the new installation of the most modern R2R production line for the production of flexible light sources and of the process innovation of a new furnace for the curing of the LED strip: It is very small and allows a high quality and efficient production.
