New bright plastic filters with anti-fog-coating replaces heavy laser safety-glass goggles

LASERVISION presents the world's first plastic laser safety filter for medical Ho:YAG and CO2-lasers.

With this new, lightweight and very bright plastic filter LASERVISION has developed an equitable alternative to commonly used glass or coated filter goggles for these lasers with comparable protection levels. The filter is CE certified for a wavelength range of 1870-11500nm acc. EN 207 and compared to laser protection goggles with glass filters it is considerably less expensive.

The minor weight as well as the almost undistorted color recognition of this new plastic eyewear is a considerable improvement for the wearing comfort. Additionally the eye side surface of the shield features an anti-fog-coating by default. In cases of surgical treatments this is a great advantage because the goggles must not be put off for cleaning and/or drying matters.

The goggle fits, due to the new design with flat shield and straight side geometry, over the most up-to-date prescription glasses and can be ordered with both temple versions. The flex temples ensure a secure and comfortable fit at almost every head shape. The alternative version F22 with the conventional temples allows handling with one hand.
