Active laser safety cabin window from LASERVISION

New safety concept acc. to category T1 for industrial high power lasers

(PresseBox) (Fürth, )
Due to constantly increasing power and beam quality of modern disc and fiber lasers laser safety according to the standards is difficult to achieve with commonly used filter materials. In most cases commonly used passive laser safety windows do not reach the protection rating required for these lasers. LASERVISION has solved the problem by means of a new patented active cabinet window.

By integration of the integrated electronic into the safety circuit of the laser system this problem is solved in an ideal and easy way. In case that a laser beam hits the window and a sufficient part of the radiation couples into sensor, the laser will be shut-down immediately before radiation leaks from the back side of the window. In addition the system is totally insensitive against scattered and process light. This offers the user a complete, safe and certified (category T1) system, which is in accordance to the mechanical engineering regulation. In combination with active barrier systems LASERVISION offers a complete safety solution for industrial high power laser installations in the wavelength range between 820-1100 nm. The window is available in 2 different dimensions.
