Schnelle IL- und RL-Messung an Kabeln mit MPO/MTP-Steckern

Beim Test von MPO/MTP-Steckern schaltet das OP940-CSW von OptoTest automatisch von einem Kanal zum nächsten. In nur 40 Sekunden erfasst es sowohl die Einfügungsdämpfung (IL) als auch die wichtige, aber oft vernachlässigte Rückflussdämpfung (RL) an zwölf Fasern. Dazu nutzt das OP940-CSW einen großen Dynamikbereich von
-10 dB bis -80 dB und kann so die Dämpfung im Referenz-Setup anpassen. Besonders bei der RL-Messung führt das zu sehr genauen Ergebnissen und garantiert eine hohe Dienstqualität.

Das bei LASER COMPONENTS erhältliche Gerät spart nicht nur durch die schnellen und präzisen Messungen wertvolle Zeit bei der Faserinstallation in Rechenzentren; auch sein kompaktes Design erleichtert die Arbeit erheblich: Ohne umständliche Fanouts werden die Kabel direkt an die MPO/MTP-Schnittstelle angeschlossen. Auch auf den Einsatz von Mandrels oder Index-Matching-Gel kann der Techniker verzichten.
