ProCLeave LDTM - Preiswerter Cleaver für Fasern bis 550 μm

LASER COMPONENTS stellt den neuen ProCleave LD™ vor: er ist spezifiziert bis 550 μm, bricht aber auch viele Fasern mit 600 μm Durchmesser. Damit ist der ProCleave bestens geeignet für den Einsatz im Produktionsumfeld und im Labor, sowohl in der Laserfertigung als auch in Medizintechnik und Sensorik.

Bei der Entwicklung wurde besonderer Wert auf einfache Handhabung, hohe Prozessgeschwindigkeit und Zuverlässigkeit gelegt. Durch seine kleine Standfläche von nur 10 x 15 cm lässt er sich gut in vorhandene Spleiß- und Arbeitsplätze integrieren. Batteriebetrieben ermöglicht er auch den mobilen Einsatz.

Das Prinzip ist denkbar einfach: Die Faser wird unter einen definierten Längszug gesetzt und bricht bei der Berührung mit einer Diamantschneide. Die erreichten Brechwinkel liegen bei < 0,5° und das mit sehr guter Reproduzierbarkeit. Durch den integrierten Back-stop erzielt man auch bei den schwierigeren Double-Clad- und strukturierten Fasern sehr gute Brechergebnisse. Die Zugkraft ist stufenlos einstellbar.
