Zur Abschwächung von Laserleistung verwendet man Polarisatoren mit l/2 Verzögerungsplatten, die je nach Drehung einen anderen Anteil der ursprünglichen Leistung durchlassen. LASER COMPONENTS bietet für die einfache Einstellung der l/2 Platten optomechanische Bauteile an: die Rotationshalter der PPM-Serie. Ausgestattet mit zwei Skalierungen, können die eingeschraubten Verzögerungsplatten auf die Bogenminute genau gedreht werden. Der eingestellte Winkel wird über eine Madenschraube arretiert. Die PPM-Serie ist für Ringfassungen bis zu einem Außendurchmesser von 1,0" bzw. 2,0" ausgelegt.

Prismen und Würfel werden komfortabel mit den Plattformen der PT-Serie in den Strahlengang gebracht. Die Auflagefläche beträgt 38 x 25 mm - ausreichend für Strahlteilerwürfel mit einer Kantenlänge bis 23,0 mm. Ein Bügel-Klemmsystem hält die Komponenten am Platz. Mit zwei Rändelschrauben sind Verkippungen der Plattform um ± 4° in der Horizontalen und Vertikalen möglich. Die PT-Serie hat zwei Gewinde auf der Unterseite: M6x1P und M4x1P - für den flexiblen Systemeinsatz.
