Dr. Andreas Hornsteiner Appointed as new Head of Fiber Technologies Department

Since January 1, Dr. Andreas Hornsteiner heads the Fiber Technologies sales group at LASER COMPONENTS. In this position he oversees not only the entire range of optical fibers and cables but also the newly added fiber optic network portfolio. In addition, he is involved in expanding the in-house production of fiber assemblies at the German headquarters in Olching, near Munich. The first project - installing an authorized service and repair center for the maintenance of fiber optic splicers - was already successfully concluded.

Dr. Hornsteiner earned his doctoral degree at the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics in Munich. Having served the industry for almost 20 years, he knows the photonics and fiber optics industry very well - worldwide. LASER COMPONENTS profits from this knowledge during the further expansion of our fiber optic production.
