Mit den grundlegend überarbeiteten Halterungen lassen sich die FLEXPOINT®-Module von LASER COMPONENTS so befestigen, dass der Strahl nicht im Geringsten von der gewünschten Position abweicht. Die beiden Standardvarianten für Moduldurchmesser von 11,5 und 19 mm werden durch eine Präzisionshalterung für 19 mm-Module ergänzt. Mit diesem Modell lässt sich der Strahl auf drei Achsen mit höchster Präzision positionieren. Dabei regeln zwei Stellschrauben die horizontale und vertikale Ausrichtung des Lasers im Zehntel-Millimeter-Bereich. Die dritte dient dazu die Rotation von Kreuz- oder Linienlasern auf wenige Grad genau einzustellen. Besonders bei hohen Laserleistungen wird die Wärmeentwicklung zum Problem. Ist das Gehäuse zu warm, können sich die Strahlparameter verändern. Im schlimmsten Fall wird das Modul unwiederbringlich beschädigt. Daher dienen alle drei Halterungen gleichzeitig auch als passive Wärmesenken. Die Wärme wird auf die Bodenplatte umgeleitet, wo sie keinen Schaden anrichtet.
