The MVgiga emits a fine and focusable line with a homogeneous power distribution along the line. This is a common feature among lasers of this series. The connection of the power supply using a SUB-D9 plug is convenient! There is little demand on the voltage supply; in fact, the laser can work with anything between 4.5 and 30 VDC. Needless to say, the properties of the laser do not change according to different input voltages. It is also possible to set or trigger the power of the laser using a control wire.
Typical applications of the MVgiga laser include 3D measurements, for example, in the steel industry.
