Standardized threaded holes, rods with fixed diameters: LASER COMPONENTS' optomechanical components are compatible with those other manufacturers. Commonly one single element has different threaded holes.

To fix optical mounts to rods flexibly, each rod is equipped with two different threaded holes: an M4x0.7P on one side and an M6x1.0P on the other side. The corresponding mounts have a similar flexibility. They can hold rods that have a diameter of 12.0 mm to 12.7 mm and can be securely adjusted with a threaded screw.

Whether a positioning system, adjustable optical mount, or variable aperture, LASER COMPONENTS' parts are available with both: metric and English threads.
