The new HD3 compact video display is used with Westover’s probe microscope to provide a highly portable and efficient display for viewing and inspecting fiber connector endfaces. The HD3 is an ideal solution for technicians in the field or on-the-go, featuring a precision 1.8” TFT LCD screen incorporated into a durable, ergonomic, drop tested enclosure and is powered by a rechargeable NiMH battery.
Westover’s FiberChek2 is a fully integraged hardware/software platform that plugs directly into a laptop and provides image capture, repeatable pass/fail grading, detailed data analysis and comprhensive reporting. The automated analysis capabilities of FiberChek2 removes subjectivity from visual inspection, allowing organizations to implement standards at every stage of handling fiber throughout their network (e.g. installation, network test, troubleshooting and maintenance).
