Tempo/Greenlee is exhibiting together with Laser 2000 at ECOC in Berlin: See the latest versions of Optical Fiber Monitors (OFM)

Tempo Optical Fiber Monitors are Very High-Resolution Optical Time Domain Reflectometers (VHR-OTDR) for short-haul optical measurement applications.

The Optical Fiber Monitor is an invaluable instrument for precisely measuring the optical characteristics of fiber cables, connectors, couplers, attenuators, splitters, switches, harnesses, amplifiers, DWDM components, where millimeter resolution and high sensitivity are required. The OFMs are available as multimode and singlemode versions as well as for Plastic Optical Fiber (POF) and Avionics applications.

Furthermore Tempo/Greenlee is exhibiting the new handheld OTDRs and the fiberTOOLS™ test instruments for field applications:

Greenlee’s 920XC is a handheld, full-featured OTDR for cable acceptance testing and fault locating. The Autotest function automatically chooses the optimal measurement settings, scans the fiber under test and performs fiber analysis displaying length of fiber, loss of each event in an easy to read table. The user may also use the graphical user interface to navigate the trace signature for more detailed views of specific fiber events.
The 920XC series handheld OTDR is designed to fully embody the user’s convenience with its large colour LCD display and graphical user interface. The user can activate the measurement functions easily by the press of one button.
The 920XC series OTDR is indispensable and the ideal tool that all telecom service providers, CATV and contractors need in their toolbox.

The XL fiberTOOLS™ are designed for the technician to perform installation and maintenance measurements on fiber optic cabling networks. The instrument family consists of individual instruments (optical power meters, 850/1300nm LED sources, 1310/1550nm Laser sources, Visual Fault Locator) and complete Insertion Loss Test Sets. The XL fiberTOOLS™ are designed to accurately measure optical power levels and link loss on multimode and singlemode cabling networks. These full feature general purpose fibre optic instruments are easy to operate and economically priced to outfit all technicians performing fibre optic installation and maintenance.
