LaserPoint has three types of families of thermopile sensors. Among those, the line with “QA (air cooled) – QW (water
cooled)” suffix utilizes an innovative thermopile disk where the thermocouple array is split into four quadrants, allowing
those heads to provide very accurate information on beam position (100 microns resolution) in addition to power

This type of detectors are recommended for those applications that require the alignment of complex laboratory optical
setups and the alignment of beam lines in industrial machinery.

Heads for six different laser power ranges are available to cover position sensitive power measurements for lasers from 10 mW up to 9 kW.
