Bei dem Laserschutzfenster „Glaser Jailer“ vom Weltmarktführer Lasermet handelt es sich um eine Neuentwicklung im Bereich des aktiven Laserschutzes. Es kann z.B. in die Laserschutzkabine „Laser Castle“ oder in eine beliebige andere Laserumhausung eingebaut werden, um eine sichere Beobachtung von Laserarbeitsprozessen von außerhalb zu ermöglichen. Besonders bei Anwendungen wie Laserschweißen und -schneiden, für die Laserleistungen von mehreren kW benötigt werden, ist es wichtig sicherzustellen, dass für Personen und Umgebung keine unmittelbare Gefahr ausgeht.
Das aktive Laserschutzfenster „Glaser Jailer“ ist mit dem Interlock Kontrollsystem ICS-6 verbunden, welches eine kontinuierliche und ausfallsichere Überwachung während des Laserbetriebs ermöglicht. Trifft Laserstrahlung auf die Scheibe, sendet die eingebaute Sensorik ein Signal an das Interlocksystem, welches den Laser in wenigen Millisekunden abschaltet.
Das Laserschutzfenster ist für den Einsatz nach EN 60824-4 CE-zertifiziert und für alle Lasertypen, Wellenlängen und Leistungen lieferbar. Es ist in den Größen 520 mm x 775 mm sowie 185 mm x 170 mm verfügbar. In Kombination mit den aktiven Kacheln des „Laser Jailer“ kann so eine beobachtbare und ausfallsichere aktive Laserschutzumgebung geschaffen werden.
