Laser 2000 hat das neue low-cost Mini OTDR von Noyes vorgestellt. Das kostengünstige SM-OTDR ist speziell für den FTTH-Markt entwickelt.

Das OFL-250 kombiniert PowerMeter, Lichtquelle und Rotlichtquelle zur Fehlersuche in einem kleinen handlichen Gerät das nur 0,8kg wiegt. Es verfügt über eine manuelle und Auto-Setup-Funktion sowie über eine Ereignistabelle und den 2-Wellenlängentest.
Durch den Full Auto Mode vermisst es Faserlänge und stellt Reichweite, Pulsweite und Mittlungszeit voll automatisch ein.

Die Daten können über USB ausgelesen werden, die Akkulaufzeit beträgt
12 Stunden.
Das OFL-250 ist ein leistungsfähiges SM-OTDR in kompakter Bauform das mit seiner kleinen Totzone und dem Dynamikbereich ideal für FTTH-Anwendungen ist. Außerdem kann es auch als PowerMeter und durch die Rotlichtquelle zum Durchleuchten der Fasern und zur Fehlersuche verwendet werden.
Mit einem Dynamikbereich von 26 dB lassen sich bei SM-Fasern bei 1310 nm bis
78 km und bei 1550 nm sogar bis 130km messen. Die Ereignistotzone liegt bei nur 1,5m.
Somit ist das OFL-250-OTDR ideal für alle Installateure und Anwender die im FTTH-Bereich tätig sind und das zu einem sehr günstigen Preis.
