Mit PHast wird die Begrenzung des CameraLink Standards von 10 Metern aufgehoben. Die Umsetzer von CameraLink-optische Faser und zurück bieten für CameraLink Full mit 10 Tabs je 8 Bit die Möglichkeit die Übertragungsstrecke absolut stabil und kostengünstig auf bis zu 250 m auszuweiten.

Das System wird komplett mit allen Modulen und Stromversorgung ausgeliefert und wird direkt auf Kamera und Framegrabber gesteckt. Dabei sind keinerlei Änderungen an dem bestehenden System notwendig. Der CL Standard wird vollständig über Glasfaser abgebildet. Dabei bietet die Faser den Vorteil, dass sie weniger Platz beansprucht, kleinere Biegeradien zulässt und völlig unbeeindruckt von EMV Strahlung ist.

Noch nie war CameraLink stabiler und flexibler. PHast eignet sich für Camera Link Full, Medium und Base für Matrix und Line Scan Kameras.
