LAP GmbH Laser Applikationen joins Siemens PLM Software Solution Partner Program
As a Software and Technology Partner LAP is able to provide aircraft manufacturers with an end-to-end digital workflow from composite design to manufacturing
“LAP is excited to join Siemens PLM Software’s partner community. The strength of our two organizations working together will help deliver significant value to our customers. Customers can benefit from direct export of LAP projection data straight from Fibersim software,” said Ralf Müller-Polyzou, Head of Marketing and Product Management, LAP GmbH Laser Applikationen.
With LAP’s laser projection system COMPOSITE PRO aircraft manufacturers can optimize workflow and quality of composite parts production. The digital laser template displays projection files based on CAD data with highest accuracy. This is more flexible, precise, and faster than working with conventional templates or measuring aids. The laser projection module in Siemens PLM Software’s Fibersim™ portfolio automatically generates laser projection data in LAP file format that can be used by the advanced LAP projection software PRO-SOFT.
Siemens PLM Software is a leading global provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) software and services. As part of the partnership, LAP is able to offer its customers an effective digital workflow from virtual composite design to manufacturing with Siemens PLM Software’s Fibersim software for composites engineering and manufacturing.
“Siemens PLM Software is committed to creating partnerships to help enhance the end-user experience of our customers. We are pleased to work with LAP to provide open, integrated solutions that improve the productivity of our mutual customers,” said David Leigh Hudson, Director of Product and Market Strategy for the Fibersim product portfolio at Siemens PLM Software.
